The Institute of Neurogenetics warmly welcomes Letizia Santinelli. Letizia holds a double Master's Degree in Medical Biotechnologies from the University of Padua and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ulm. Her research in Ulm focused on the “Investigation of the morphological and molecular effect of the phosphatase PTEN in primary murine Schwann cells”.

At the Institute of Neurogenetics, Letizia has become a part of Dr. Philip Seibler’s Applied Stem Cell Biology group. Under the co-supervision of Dr. Max Borsche, she will be diving into the project “Elucidating alpha-synuclein seeding and inflammation in genetic and idiopathic Parkinson's disease.”
