Research Unit FOR2488 (on reduced penetrance in hereditary movement disorders) is about to enter into its final year. Thus, we thought it would be of great importance to transition our insights and new ideas to the next level by drafting a proposal for a Collaborative Research Center (Sonderforschungsbereich, SFB) for consideration by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). The draft proposal on reduced penetrance and expressivity in hereditary brain disorders is currently under review.
