International recognition for Prof. Dr. Christine Klein

Prof. Dr. Christine Klein, Director of the Institute of Neurogenetics at the University of Lübeck and the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH), has received three international awards for her research on movement disorders. She was awarded the “C. David Marsden Lecture Award” of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, which is presented once a year.

Dr. Prasuhn awarded with a Junior award from the German Parkinson Foundation

On September 26th, Dr Jannik Prasuhn from the Institute of Neurogenetics and the Department of Neurology received a Junior award from the German Parkinson Foundation (25.000 Euro). He will be supported for his project entitled “Broadband near-infrared spectroscopy for the identification of mitochondrial endophenotypes in Parkinson’s disease”. Congratulations!
