We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nadine J. Endaya to the Institute of Neurogenetics. A trained Adult Neurologist from the Philippines, Dr. Endaya began her career as a board-certified Physical Therapist after earning her degree from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. She later pursued her medical degree at the Metropolitan Medical Center, marking the start of her journey into clinical neuroscience.
She completed her residency in Adult Neurology at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, within the Department of Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine. Under the mentorship of Prof. med Dr. Raymond Rosales—an esteemed authority in movement disorders—Dr. Endaya developed a keen interest in this subspecialty.
Now as a PhD fellow, she is expanding her research into the genetic underpinnings of movement disorders, with a focus on the interplay between mitochondria, endolysosomes, and lipids in Parkinson’s disease. Her work aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms and pathways.
We look forward to her insights and collaboration in our shared mission to uncover the genetic basis of neurological disease.
